You can install MaxTip within seconds by using the MaxTip Setup Wizard. First, you need to

download MaxTip
The .msi file can be executed directly. If it does not start (Windows complains about an unknown file extension) then you need to download the Microsoft Installer which is available for free, too:

Microsoft Installer 1.10 for Windows 95 and 98
Microsoft Installer 1.10 for Windows NT 4.0 (x86)
Windows 2000 and Windows ME come with the Microsoft Installer already built in.

Hint: If you previously installed an older version of MaxTip then uninstall it first.
After successfully starting MaxTipInstaller.msi you will see a Welcome Dialog:


Next to the Welcome Dialog is the License. You have to agree to install MaxTip. Don't worry, the license just consists of some disclaimers that I own the copyright and the usual legal stuff.
You can choose freely where to install MaxTip:


After clicking Next the installation is already complete - easy, isn't it !?

If MaxTip doesn't work the way you want you can remove it (are you really sure you ever want to do that ;-).
Just open your Control Panel and then open Software:
