I am working on a Windows™ infotip shell extension that shows information in a small tooltip while hovering over a file in the Explorer. Microsoft® already did it for Word and Excel files. But they forgot a lot !
Currently, I am coding an infotip called MaxTip for GIF, JPEG, AVI and MP3 files - of course I will add far more file formats ...

Yet it works well on every Windows™ system that features Active Desktop™ (needn't to be enabled) which is part of Internet Explorer™ 4.0+. A first public release will be available in a few days.
